Entertainment
Lots to choose near here from casual to more upscale.
The Foundry is a newer place on Atlantic that has good food, drinks and service.
Next door is Vega Lounge and on the intracoastal side there is Houstons on the waterway (Modern American food) It is always busy so reserve a table if at peak times on weekends etc.
In that general area on Atlantic Blvd to the Publix there are lots of breakfast diners and pizza places etc.
There is a brand new seafood store and Raw bar just before the drawbridge on Atlantic Blvd called Flamingo Seafood and next door is an Italian restaurant.
There is a brew pub called 26 degree brewing on the opposite side of the Publix grocery store and if you like craft beer that is good as well (they usually have a food truck outside).
In the same plaza is Flanigans, a low key eatery and bar that is always consistent for bar snacks and light fare.
There are Italian cafe’s (Cafe Sportivo) and delicatessen (Napolitano’s) as well as Indian (Miami Spice), Sushi (Take Sushi), a german restaurant (Old Munchen) and a greek taverna next door also.
Cafe Max offers a very classy Brunch on Sundays and they even offer events like cooking classes. It is on Atlantic Blvd just before Publix.
The new development by the pier has two oceanfront restaurants, Oceanic which is great for seafood and The Beach House which has a upper floor covered open area bar and patio which is a great spot for happy hour drinks before the sun sets. In the same area there is a burger joint, ice cream shop and a Mexican tequila restaurant.
Further afield Google and Yelp can help you find many more bars and restaurants in the area and beyond.
